Life energy: photosynthesis

• Photosynthesis - combination of water, sunlight used by plants to make their own food and oxygen
• Photo means sunlight light energy is called proton
• Photosynthesis - a process of food making done by plants and other autotrophic organisms
• Synthesis - process of making food from sunlight
• Plants need 3 things carbon dioxide, water, sunlight
• Plants - producer of food in return

  Convert carbon dioxide to oxygen specific sugar that plant produce is glucose or main product oxygen is not original product
• Photosynthesis takes place in the leaves on the presence of chlorophyll
• Mesophyll has the most number of chloroplast that contain chlorophyll important in traping light energy form the sun
• Vascular bundles - phloem and xylem transporting vessels of manufactured food and water
• Light dependent reaction - happens in the presence of light energy harvested during this stage is ATP ( adenosine triphosphate)
• Calvin cycle ( dark reaction) - light independent phrase that takes place in the stomata converts carbon dioxide into sugar
