  Warm the analytical balance for 15 minutes while

  placing the standard mass close to the balance in

  order to reach the room temperature while

  stabilizing the balance.

  Weigh the standard mass with a tweezer

  2nd Step

  Perform accuracy and repeatability assays by

  making five replicate readings. Remove the standard mass from the pan and tare the balance in between measurements.

  3rd Step

  Perform drift assay by placing the standard mass on

  the balance. Obtain the initial reading then leave the

  standard mass for 5 minutes before obtaining

  another reading.

  4th Step

  Repeat the process three times (three trials)
