Respiratorysystem - the organs that are involved in the process of breathing.
The air we breathe goes through the nosenasalpassages and then through the trachea which splits into the bronchi entering eachlung.
Analogous to the branching pattern of grapes finally becoming hairlikeBronchioles
Nose - entrance of air
Nasalcavity - the air is filtered
Pharynx - controls the passage of air through the lungs
Larynx - the organ of voice, located at the entrance to the trachea aka as voicebox
Trachea - A tube that carries air from the mouth to the lungs mainpassageway or windpipe
Bronchi - carry air into the lungs
Left bronchus
Right bronchus
Lungs - help oxygen we breathe
R/l - lungsuperior lobe
R/l - lungmiddle lobe
R/l - lunginferior lobe
Bronchioles - branching of bronchi, smaller airways that lead to alveoli tinytubes ( hairlike)
Alveoli - Small airsacs in the lungs that are filled with air and have a large surface area exchange of oxygen and carbondioxidegasexchange, mostimportant event
Artery blood flows here attached to
Vein. Alveoli
Diaphragm - controls the the breathing process creates spasm which causes hiccups
Asthma - Chronic inflammatory disease of the airways that causes wheezing and difficulty breathing
