    THEREFORE: Need consistency to he effective among both parents but it poses more harm than good

    • Wales and Scotland: banned smacking children going against conditioning highlighting it leads to depression and anxiety
    THEREFORE: there are ethical concerns with use of conditioning to discipline children and should be used with caution

    • Such as pocket money as a reward for simple behaviour
    THEREFORE: poses a risk as the child will obtain an unrealistic expectation in society for rewards for simple behaviour
