  • 41 violent murderers
  • 39:2 M:F
  • Mean age 34.3 years
  • All pleaded NGRI
  • Some had mental disorders like 6 had schizophrenia
  • Medication free 2 weeks prior
• Design

  • Matched 6 schizophrenics to a control group
  • Other controls had no history of illnesses
  • Matched pairs design
