  • What is a neglected tropical disease (NTD)?
    An NTD is a group of communicable diseases that are prevalent in tropical and subtropical conditions. They are neglected because they are not treated easily in these region.
  • Examples = River blindness
    This is causes you to go blin. It also makes farming work really tough.
  • Example = Elephantiasis
    This is a set of worms that live inside your lymph node. e.g. it makes your legs 10 times larger than it should be.
