    • Determind via our schemas acquired by social interactions leading to stereotypes and may determine how to interpret situations
    • Individuals not accountable and as a result no free well
  • Mechanically reductionist
    • Breaks humans down to being machine robots
    • Ignores complexities of human behaviour like emotions and thoughts
    EX: Mental illness, depressed individuals having irrational thoughts can be changed but the cause is usually significant life events, changing thinking does not alter environment
    THEREFORE: weakness as ignores complexities and reduces us down to computers
