    • 20, 1 hour sessions
  • Component 1 - Dysfunctional thought diary

    • Record events leading to unpleasant feelings
    • Rate the belief of these thoughts from 1-100%
    • Identify/write a rational response
    • Re-rate beliefs

    • Therapist and cilent collaboratively identify and aim to change negative thought patterns
    • ”Therapy during therapy“
    • Identify cognitive distortions such as: fortune telling, black & white thinking, jump to conclusions
    • Challenge distortions
  • Component 3 - Pleasant activity scheduling
    • Cilent plans a pleasant activity (e.g - gym, revision, walk, etc)
    • Sense of accomplishment
    • Induce positive emotions to detract negative emotions
    • Behavioural activation techinque
    • Record experiences and feelings
    • If issues: positive solution and goal to move away from irrational thoughts
