Truly great

• STEPHEN SPENDER 


  he was an English poet, novelist and essayist who concentrated on themes of social injustice and class struggle in his work. He was appointed Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the United States Library of Congress in 1965.
• first stanza is inspiration. These great individuals remember the soul spirit - that is, they are in touch of the passion of creation that comes from the soul.
• The truly great come from a type of eternal place where the sun is always shining
• They speak of things that come from the soul, and their lips are touched with fire meaning they overflow with passionate belief in what they do or say.
• These great souls are filled with overwhelming desires, and they have passions that they want to fulfill.
• The second stanza of the poem suggests that nobody should forget anything or everything and everybody who is precious.
• Good people leave behind their goodness and memories as inspiration and motivation for others to do the same.
• When good people leave the world of the tiding it is their great works and examples that will be left behind and will serve as their legacy.
• This works will tell us how those good people lived and touched the lives of others even in the form of their memories and works.
• It is when people started living the way those great people lived is where truelegacy.
